Corpora – Literature – Translation

WHAT DO WE WANT ?

The group focuses on text production and analysis (digitization, processing, annotation, visualization etc.), on creating and processing monolingual and multilingual corpora, on publishing texts, on databases, on developing tools and practices in the fields of philology and translation studies.
Following are some of the works in progress and further development:
  1. Multilingual literary corpus with concordance search
  2. Translated speech corpus
  3. Corpora processing (e.g. annotation, analysis, visualization)
  4. Stylistic and register applications (e.g. Papadiamantis, Melpo Axioti, translation comparison and criticism)
  5. Translation and platform tools for specialized and literary translation and terminology tools
  6. Polysemic texts
  7. Cultural mediation and printing (databases and mapping)
  8. Electronic literature and algorithmic criticism
